Who We Are
Our Experience and Cultural Awareness
After spending so long in China we have made it our business to immerse ourselves in the culture of China. We have spent many years learning Mandarin and also to be culturally aware in both business and everyday life. China has many cultural taboos and it's important when doing business to be aware of these.
We take pride in giving back something to the community that has helped us get to where we are today. In 2009 Gerry completed the 2009 Dongguan International Marathon and raised 6700 yuan for a local autistic charity called CTC. www.ctcommunity.org
What other experience do we have?
Back in 2013 Gerry and a partner opened Healthy Imports Ltd, a WOFE company. They were the first Irish people to successfully do so in China. They imported and distributed Rocwell Mineral Water to the Chinese market. They closed the company in 2016. It was a massive learning curve about how business is really done in China and a great experience. They learned many important business lessons during these three years. They also worked with an import platform called Brandyond and aided countless companies in getting their healthy food and beverage products on the Chinese market.
